These labels describe different functions. Buying a virtual mailbox does not automatically provide a compliant registered office or a bank-acceptable business address.

State rules are not interchangeable
Wyoming says a registered office must be a physical Wyoming street address; PO boxes, virtual addresses, mail-forwarding locations and carrier stores do not qualify. Privacy has limits
A paid registered-agent service can keep an eligible agent available, but other filing fields or licensing records may still disclose addresses and names.
